J2 were asked to take into account the hotels situation whilst working with obscure angles and large voids of space to create a place that is tranquil yet inviting & contemporary but natural.
Design Approach
The main feature of this hotel is its relationship with the environment, this has been achieved in the design through use of local materials, form, shape & integration between interior & exterior space. The colour language has been derived from the natural outdoors palette & is expressed through elegant fabrics and sleek finishes.
New build
A 210 key new build hotel located on the banks of the River Danube in Hungary. The hotel morphs into the surrounding landscape but also towers above it with fabulous views across the valley.
